Drone photography for architecture, construction, and hospitality properties across San Diego, extending the same photographic eye used in interior and architectural work to elevated perspectives, including ongoing progress documentation for commercial construction projects.
Drone work is most effective when it's composed with the same intent as ground-level photography. It’s not just height for its own sake, but an angle that shows context, scale, or a property's relationship to its surroundings. All drone work is flown under FAA Part 107 certification and fully insured. It pairs naturally with architecture and hospitality shoots, giving my clients a complete visual package from ground floor to rooftop.

FAQ
Is drone photography licensed and insured? Yes. All my missions are conducted under FAA Part 107 certification (U.S.) and covered by commercial insurance. I also have my A1/A3 certification through EASA in the European Union.
Can drone work be paired with ground-level photography in the same shoot? Yes. I try to plan most drone work alongside architecture or hospitality photography for a complete property package.
What locations or property types can you shoot? It depends on the site location/airspace, although with advance planning, most locations (outside of places like State and National Parks) are accessible. *Interiors (like warehouses) are exempt from FAA rules.
Can you fly a drone on short notice? Not always. San Diego has busy, complex airspace, and drone flights near downtown and the airport require LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability) approval. That can take anywhere from a few minutes to several days, and isn’t guaranteed. Drone shoots are best scheduled with some lead time rather than booked last-minute.
Do you offer recurring drone documentation for construction projects? Yes. Many construction clients book monthly or milestone-based flights to track progress from groundbreaking to completion. These photos and video can also double as marketing and leasing content once the project nears completion.
