Hospitality & Commercial
Hospitality and commercial photography for hotels, restaurants, and brands across Southern California.
I photograph spaces designed to welcome people, shot to convey atmosphere as much as architecture.
Hospitality spaces are shot differently than static architecture. The goal is to show a space in use, or ready to be. Lighting and timing matter as much as composition here: golden hour for a rooftop bar, controlled ambient light for a dining room.
The result is imagery built for marketing use—websites, social, press, and PR—not just documentation.
Clients include Hilton Hotels, Equinox Gyms, Carte Hotels, Cohn Restaurant Group, San Diego Home & Garden Magazine, CLTVT, and Shake Shack.
FAQ
Do you shoot during service hours or when the space is empty? Both. Empty-space shots for architectural clarity and in-service shots for atmosphere and lived-in energy, depending on what the project needs.
Can you shoot for both PR/press use and social media content? Yes. The same shoot typically covers both, with framing suited for press releases, print, and social formats. I deliver “hero” shots and vignettes/details.
Do you travel outside San Diego? Yes, I am a seasoned international traveler and have experience with ATA carnet documentation and local equipment rental.
Can you work with an existing style? Yes. Most major brands (I’m a Hilton Preferred Vendor) have established “house” styles, and I have experience emulating them.
